The Band of Sisters is a collective of six executive-level women with unparalleled insight into inclusive leadership and work culture. They share their combined experiences through corporate speaking engagements and in their book, You Should Smile More. Our team partnered with Alicia Simons to create a visual brand identity and platform for The Band of Sisters that would shake things up!
Paint Point: A new collective brand looking to face down gender bias in the workplace.
The task of creating a visual identity for a personal brand that represents six unique women can be a challenge, however Alicia of A. Simons Consulting had strong brand messaging and a clear picture of The Band of Sisters’ target audience. We combined this strategy with our own research to create a visual identity that is bold and engaging.
The primary goal of the website is to invite users into The Band of Sisters community and encourage the purchase of their new book, You Should Smile More. However, their mission doesn’t stop with book sales — the band will continue to speak publicly on the topic of gender bias in the workplace, garnering press and creating educational blog content as they go.
The Band of Sisters consists of six extremely busy women and while they have been trained on how to maintain and update their website, they looked to outsource this important task to us as their trusted partner. On top of secure hosting, frequent plug-in updates, and quality checks, the band is also able to utilize our ticketing system to ensure their site is updated with their latest press pieces.
